Whether it’s checking an item off of your bucket list, fulfilling your dreams of becoming an Olympic curler, or somewhere in between, the Pittsburgh Curling Club can help! No prior experience is required.

Our curling classes are run by experienced members of the club who can provide you with a great introduction to the sport.

Learn To Curl Programs

Level 1 Level 2 Level 3 Post Learn to Curl

Level 1

Learn To Curl 1

10 minutes of off-ice introduction and instruction
followed by approximately 45-60 minutes of on-ice instruction
an hour or so of instructed game play.
Broomstacking, socializing after the game.

Post Learn to Curl

While you can join at any time, we strongly suggest that you at least complete LTC1 before joining.

There are many options for you to continue curling after your learn to curl sessions.

Join our Futures League, perfect for newer curlers, our Futures League is intended as a learning environment for developing curling skills and strategy, in a fun and supportive atmosphere.
Join as a base member and come out to our casual Friday Night ‘Pick Up and Pizza’.
Join one of our Pick up leagues like the Saturday Morning ‘Stones and Scones’ or Sunday Open Draw
Join one or more of our regular leagues.

Each class can be purchased individually or combined into a complete up to a 6 hour program. Discounted rates applied when purchasing LTC1 in conjunction with LTC 2 & 3.

All Three, ( LTC1, 2 & 3 bundle )	$100
Each Individual class ( LTC1, LTC2 or LTC3 )	$50
If you did the LTC1 and want to get the LTC2 & 3 bundle	$75

Please arrive 15 early to get checked in and get grippers.

FAQs

What if I'm not flexible enough to get down to slide...

Curlers with cranky knees, sore backs, other mobility issues can enjoy the greatest game on ice using the stick, a delivery device that allows a player to play without using a traditional slide delivery. Let us know if it may be difficult to do a traditional slide delivery, and we can help get you all set. Check out this video on stick curling.
